Ordering
How far in advance should I order? For a piece from our collections, two days is the minimum and a week is better — it gives us room to get the personalisation right and to hold your date. For a bespoke commission, please allow two weeks, as the design is drawn and proofed before anything is made.
Can I change the wording after ordering? Only before your order enters preparation. After that the piece is being made and the wording is fixed.
Do you take same-day orders? No.
Delivery
Do you ship? No. Every composition is delivered by hand, fully inflated, within our local area. Balloons do not survive posting.
Can you leave it at the door? No. Someone must be there to accept it.
Can I choose a delivery time? Deliveries run between 10 am and 6 pm. We cannot guarantee an hour, but tell us if timing is critical.
Do you deliver to hospitals, hotels and offices? Yes. Please check first that the building allows balloons — some wards and offices do not — and give us the ward, room or desk so our courier can find the recipient.
The balloons themselves
How long will they last? Typically three to five days, often one to two weeks indoors. Foil outlasts latex.
Will it look exactly like the photograph? Very close, but not identical — every piece is made by hand. See Personalisation & Proofs.
Can you match a specific colour? Often, but not always. Write to us before ordering and we will be honest about it.
Is anyone in my household allergic to latex? If so, tell us — most compositions can be made in foil.
Can I take them outside? You can, at your own risk. Sun, heat and wind shorten float time dramatically.
Bespoke
What can you make? Anything we can design and carry — colours, monograms, brand palettes, a composition built around one occasion. Please allow two weeks. Begin at The Bespoke Atelier.
What does a commission cost? It begins with a $150 design deposit, credited against the finished piece.
